To promote the conservation of flora species and natural ecosystems.

Principles
*Actions must be aimed at reducing the loss of biodiversity.
*Scientific basis must be paramount in the work developed.
*Projects must consider the effects of Climate Change and adaptation and mitigation measures.
*The cooperative essence, ethics and economic sustainability must permeate all processes.

Strategic objectives
*Generate and disseminate scientific knowledge aimed at the conservation of flora.
*To train and sensitize different audiences in relation to biodiversity conservation issues.
*Increase diversity and encourage the use of species weakened by degradation, with a focus on the Mixed Ombrophilous Forest and associated ecosystems.
*Support, subsidize and influence public conservation policies.
*Strengthen Chauá's financial sustainability.
