Parrot Chauá Project and Expedition - Lagamar, Paraná

Summary:
A 12-day expedition was carried out with ocean kayaks along the Lagamar Paranaenese to the state of São Paulo, leaving the Nhundiaquara River, passing through the bay of Paranaguá, Guaraqueçaba, Pinheiros, Ilha das Peças, Ilha do Superagui, Canáneia and Ilha do Cardoso. Habitat region of the red-faced parrot ( Amazona brasiliensis ), an endemic species in the region and threatened with extinction. The expedition's photos were exhibited in shopping malls and universities, demonstrating the beauties of the region and warning about the threats to species. It was the first project of the Chauá group that originated the NGO.
Guayrá Project and Expedition - Paraná River

Summary:
A 10-day expedition was carried out with ocean kayaks along the last stretch of the Paraná River without damming, leaving Puerto Rico-PR and going to Guaíra-PR . The photos of the expedition were exposed in several places in Curitiba-PR, demonstrating the beauties of the region and warning about the threats to different species and habitats.
